Some of us have not asked about the meaning of the numbers or letters written on the tires of our cars and what each of them means, so today we will clarify the meaning of each number or letter on the tires so that you can know what is the appropriate tire for your car and is compatible with the driver’s guide booklet attached to the cars.

Tire Type / Tire Width:

 

 

 

The letter P refers to the type of tire that is used for passenger cars, and sometimes this letter is not present, as some tires are suitable for almost all daily uses. As for the numbers next to the letter (185), they indicate the width of the tire in millimeters (185 mm).

 

 

 

Aspect Ratio:

 

 

 

The number shown in the picture (75) refers to the aspect ratio of the sidewall of the tire, where the number indicates that the tire has a height ratio of 75% to its width. And the higher the ratio, the greater the size of the sidewall of the tire.

Tire Diameter (Radial):

 

 

 

Information on the tire diameter consists of two parts, the letter R and the number section, where the letter refers to the word Radial, which means radial, while the number (14) refers to the size of the tire diameter in inches, which means that the tire shown in the picture measures 14 inches .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Load Rating:

 

 

 

The number next to the calf diameter (82) indicates the amount of weight the tires can carry in a normal position for the volume of air in the tire. Where the number 82 indicates the ability of tires to carry the equivalent of 475 kg of weight, so it is advised not to buy tires with an index less than the index of the tires that the car was on before.

 

 

 

Speed ​​Rating:

 

 

 

The last letter on the tire indicates the maximum speed that the tire can accommodate, where the letter S on the tire indicates that the tire can safely accommodate a speed of 180 km / h.

حيث نصحت الهيئة مالكي السيارات بالأمور التالية:

 

 

 

تأكد أن عمر الإطار لايزيد عن سنتين من تاريخ الإنتاج

 

لاتحمل سيارتك فوق طاقتها للحفاظ على السلامة

 

لاتغير مقاس الإطار المناسب لسيارتك وللتأكد يمكن الرجوع إلى الكتيب الإرشادي أو لوحة البيانات بالسيارة

 

إملا اطار السيارة بالضغط المناسب لتجنب الحوادث المميتة وللتأكد يمكن الرجوع إلى الكتيب الإرشادي

 

ووضحت الهيئة معاني الرموز والكتابات المنقوشة على الإطارات وهي

 

 

 

نوع الإطار.

 

عرض الإطار.

 

نسبة الارتفاع للعرض.

 

مقياس الجنط.

 

معامل الحمل للإطار.

 

رمز السرعة.

 

بلد الصنع.

 

سنة الصنع.

 

فئة درجة الحرارةA الافضل

 

مستوى تماسك الإطار على الأسطح المبللة.

 

قيمة تآكل الإطار كلما زادت كان أفضل

 

 

 

الما تسآل بعضنا عن معنى الارقام او الأحرف المكتوبة على إطارات سياراتنا و ما يعني كل منها, لذلك سنقوم اليوم بتوضيح معنى كل رقم او حرف موجود على الإطارات لكي تتمكن من معرفة ما هو الإطار المناسب لسيارتك و المتوافق مع كتيب دليل السائق المرفق مع السيارات.

 

 

 

كما توضح الصورة في الاعلى, هناك أكثر من قسم من الارقام و الاحرف, لذلك سنعتمد على الصورة بالرجوع إليها لتوضيح كل جزء من الارقام.

 

 

 

نوع الإطار و عرضه ( Tire Type / Tire Width ) :

 

 

 

يشير حرف P الى نوع الإطار الذي يستخدم لسيارات الركاب و في بعض الاوقات لا يكون موجودا هذا الحرف بكون بعض الإطارات تكون مناسبة تقريبا لجميع الإستخدامات اليومية. اما الارقام التي بجانب الحرف (185) فهي تدل على عرض الإطار بوحدة المليمتر "185 مم".

 

 

 

نسبة العرض إلى الارتفاع (Aspect Ratio) :

 

 

 

يشير الرقم الموضح في الصورة ( 75 ) الى نسبة العرض الى الإرتفاع بالنسبة للجدار الجانبي للإطار, حيث يشير الرقم الى ان الإطار لديه نسبة إرتفاع 75% لعرضه. و كلما زادت النسبة زاد حجم الجدار الجانبي للإطار.

قطر الإطار (Radial) :

 

 

 

تتكون المعلومات عن قطر الإطار من قسمين, قسم حرف آر و قسم الرقم, حيث يشير الحرف الى كلمة Radial و التي تعني نصف قطري بينما الرقم (14) يشير الى حجم قطر الإطار بوحدة قياس إنش, هذا يعني ان الإطار الموضح في الصورة قياسه 14 إنش.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

نسبة الحمولة ( Load Rating) :

 

 

 

يشير الرقم الموجود بجانب قياس قطر العجل (82) الى كمية الوزن الذي يمكن للإطارات ان تحمله في الوضع الطبيعي لحجم الهواء الموجود في الإطار. حيث يشير رقم 82 الى قدرة الإطارات على حمل ما يعادل 475 كغم من الوزن, لذلك ينصح بعدم شراء إطارات مؤشرها أقل من مؤشر الإطارات التي كانت عليه السيارة من قبل.( أنظر الى الصورة )

 

 

 

نسبة السرعة (Speed Rating) :

 

 

 

يشير آخر حرف الموجود على الإطار الى السرع القسوى التي يمكن للإطار ان يستوعبها, حيث يشير حرف أس الموجود على الإطار الى ان الإطار يمكنه أن يستوعب سرعة 180 كم/س بشكل آمن. ( أنظر الى الصورة )
